Rico’s Scholarship Foundation was established to help students in academic and sports. Students having academic and/or sports abilities we assist them in finding, applying for and obtaining college funding. Though our efforts-to- date-we have helped local students find, apply for and obtain colleges that have accepted them. Though Rico’s Scholarship Foundation is a newly founded with two years in existence-our efforts have proven to be well founded.
Your help in supporting local students with their dream of attending or going to college can be of great importance. What better way to give to your community than giving to the next generation? Everyone deserves a chance to be what he or she wants to be, and your help can make this happen. We at Rico’s Scholarship Foundation want our next generation of youth to have a hope that may otherwise be nonexistent.
Nonexistent? Yes, some students-their guardians and/or parents-do not have the financial ability to pay for a college education, so we help them to make their college education affordable by using our resources.
With 50-60 Student Athletes for August 2015-August 2016 the approximate cost for each student athlete will be $1250-$2500 for the year.
In 2015 RSF First Year of Service:
- 30- Students Athletes
- 8 Seniors
- 5 Seniors accepted to colleges and universities
- 18+ Juniors overall GPA’s improved by 2 – 5 points
- 8+ Sophomores overall GPA’s improved by – 4 points
In 2017 – RSF – Third Year of Service:
- 50+ Students Athletes
- 20 Seniors
- 15 Seniors accepted to colleges and Universities
- 10+ Juniors overall GPA’s improved by 2-5 points
- 8+ sophomores overall GPA’s improved by 2-5 points
- 6 of the 15+ seniors signed Academic / Athletic Football Scholarships with a University right here at home in PBC
